Best Drugstore Make-up & Skincare

You don't always have to spend a fortune on quality beauty or skincare products. Sometimes the best products are right inside your local drugstore. I swear by these budget-friendly products and use them regularly. Read on for my favorites...

Rimmel London Natural Bronzer gives you a natural sun-kissed glow! I like to dust it on my cheeks, nose forehead and chin for an overall bronzed look.

Maybelline Colossal Volum' Express builds huge lash volume without any clumping. This mascara is awesome and it's so easy to apply!

Lubriderm Advanced Therapy Lotion is my go-to body moisturizer for years! It absorbs quickly into the skin and keeps it super soft and moist for the entire day. I have extremely dry skin and tried everything to keep it hydrated. The Advanced Therapy lotion is truly a miracle product!

Neutrogena Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes removes all make-up easily and without leaving a greasy residue. Even works well on removing water-proof mascara!

Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream works as well as any of the expensive department store face creams at a fraction of the price. I love the way it hydrates my skin and that it's available in an unscented formula.

Biore Pore Unclogging Scrub is a fabulous cleanser with little exfoliating beads that deep clean your skin. I keep one handy in the shower!

L'Oreal Colour Riche Lip Balm is a sheer lip gloss formula that is moisturizing and feels great on the lips. Shown here in Plush Plum, this natural shade is perfect on all skin tones.

Best Self Tanner for Fair Skin: St. Tropez

My daughter Rachel is porcelain white and while she embraces her royal skin tone, she sometimes wants to have that fresh, sun-kissed look so she can be bikini-ready for the summer. She tried a few different formulas, and found that the St. Tropez Self Tan Bronzing Mousse worked best and is extremely natural-looking. I am a huge fan of this product (and use if myself) so I know it works well on all skin tones.

Rachel before applying the St. Tropez self-tanning mousse. She exfoliated her skin first in the shower with Kiehl's Soy Milk & Honey Body Polish. It's important to exfoliate before you self-tan to achieve the best results.

St. Tropez Self Tan Bronzing Mousse, $32.

Shake the bottle of mousse first and  then apply to special St. Tropez Tan Applicator Mitt. Using this mitt ensures an even, streak-free application and prevents your palms from staining.

Apply immediately and evenly to large areas first. Move sponge in circular motions to blend. Rachel and I love the mousse because it's super light, easy to apply and looks extremely natural. Dries in 60 seconds!

Dont' forget your feet!

Before

After. Rachel is a few shades darker. If you want more color, just apply another coat and wait about 5 minutes before getting dressed!
