There’s magic in going to a place that feels like it’s part of your DNA. Introducing The Glow Girl Getaways
How would you like to travel all over the world with other like-minded women, combining culture, community, and holistic living?
I was honored to be selected as the feature article and cover for The Pro-Age Woman magazine this past month. As a 59-year-old content creator and influencer, this type of recognition is not only about my personal achievement – it's a validation of a journey navigated, challenges overcome, and the strides I've made in embracing my age and identity.
Travelling is one of my favorite things to do (minus the packing). I discovered over the years that staying consistent with my self-care and beauty routine is essential when I’m on the road so I always like to have the best products on hand wherever I go! My toiletry bag contains a curated collection of amazing clean skincare and hair products, many of them in travel-sizes.
Paris is the city of light and has always held a special place in my heart. When I lived in London, I used to go there almost every weekend for the food and of course the fashion. This year, my daughter Rachel and I went on our first mother-daughter trip there, embracing the opportunity to show our personal style with the essence of Parisian fashion. We happened to be there during Paris Fashion Week, which made it even more special. We explored the streets, stores, the cuisine, attended a fashion presentation for Strathberry, one of my go-to bag designers. I will be covering all of this in a future blog post but for now let’s talk about all things fashion.
First and foremost, thank you for following me—I know you have a choice with so many content creators out there sharing great information these days and I appreciate it very much! As much as I love it, sometimes the abundance of information I provide can be overwhelming. To help keep things organized and make it as easy as possible to shop my favorite picks, I created a resource list.
We are getting close to the end of 2022, and this is the time of year to slow down and take some time for ourselves to reflect on the year. It’s so important to reset, rest and recharge so I hope you are taking some time off to relax or connect with family and friends!
First, I want to tell you how grateful I am to have you as part of The Glow Girl Community! Thank you for following my journey to help build a platform that empowers women to live a cleaner, more enhanced life.
The Amalfi Coast and Sardinia are two of Italy's hottest travel destinations. Since everyone seems to be travelling again, I thought it would be a good time to share my vacation recos for these incredible bucket list destinations in two very special Italian locations.
One of the main reasons I moved to LA was to be surrounded by ocean, mountains and sunshine all year long! I love spending time near (and in) the ocean and it’s truly my happy place. So, I thought I’d share some new favorite beachy pieces that I wore on a recent trip to La Jolla!
Since my daughter Rachel moved to New York City last September, I find myself heading there for visits every few months now! I lived on the Upper East Side for over 25 years before moving to LA so when I go back there, I like to spend time downtown, especially in Soho. For me, it’s a fresh and fun area with tons of great restaurants, shops, sites, history, culture, and more. Read on to see some of my favorites places I’ve visited.
What makes St Barths so special? It’s filled with gourmet restaurants, the chicest of shopping boutiques, a vibrant nightlife, beautiful viewpoints, and white sanded beaches with lots of private little nooks to explore. When you arrive in St. Barths, you immediately feel the Parisian meets St. Tropez vibes here! The official language there is French, but everyone speaks English.
With travel picking up again, I thought it would be a good time to share my vacation highlights from there, including my favorite restaurants, hotels, shopping, and beaches. Read on to see it all—and remember to check out the shopping carousel section for my vacation must-haves!
Eliminating clutter increases clarity, decreases stress and sets the stage to live a more enhanced life! My home organization journey (yes...I’m still working on it) started about 20 years ago. That’s when I met Barbara Reich, one of the best professional organizers in the business. Barbara and I worked closely together while I lived in NYC and she transformed the space in my family apartment. We spent a lot of time together sorting through piles of stuff and really got to know each other well. We even carpooled with our kids and collaborated on some business projects together! I then referred to Barbara as “my Ivy League organizer” as she had a degree from U of P and was always at the top of her game. She was passionate about showing her clients how to set up organizational systems in their homes, empowering them to be successful at leading a clutter-free life. She certainly changed mine!
I hope you are enjoying the holiday season! We are getting close to the finish line of 2021 and I can’t wait to take some much-needed downtime. It’s so important to reset, rest and recharge so I hope you are taking some time off to relax or connect with family and friends…
Michael and I took a few days to explore and enjoy Napa Valley earlier this Fall. We stayed at the Hotel Yountville, a luxury resort with a unique architecture constructed from Napa River rocks, timber beams, and copper accents.

I thought I’d try something a little more personal this season and would love your feedback! For today’s post, I’m sharing an inside peek into my life—unfiltered. Think of it as a behind-the-scenes look at what I’m wearing, discovering, and loving right now. Between work, events, and travel, I stumble upon so many gems that I think can help us all live a more holistic, inspired life. I hope you enjoy reading it!
