Mani Monday: Fab Nail Colors from Nuance by Salma Hayek

I recently attended a luxurious "day of beauty" at the Hotel Bel Air where CVS hosted spa treatments such as facials, massages, make-up applications, hair styling, mani's and pedi's. The beauty products featured at the event were all the latest introductions from Nuance by Salma Hayek, sold at CVS stores. I loved the nail colors from the line so much, I thought I would share for mani Monday.

The shade below is a grayish purple with blue undertones. Similar to Essie's Smokin' Hot.

This deep burgundy shade is a great mani or pedi color and is similar to OPI's Lincoln Park After Dark.

There are over 30 different nail colors to choose from in the collection.

Best New Anti-Aging Cream: Kiehl's Super Multi-Corrective Cream

When I am trying new beauty products, especially anti-aging creams, I look for real results along with how the product feels on my face, and the overall effectiveness.  I was excited to find Kiehl's Super Multi-Corrective Cream with it's amazing (and unique) texture and scent. Not only does it diminish wrinkles and smooth out the texture of your skin, it also leaves your face with a fresh, dewey glow.  Other fans of the cream include celebs like Kate Beckinsale, Julianne Moore and Olivia Palermo!

 

When I researched Kiehl's new product, I found that the cream has an anti-aging formula with proprietary technology that is clinically-proven to lift, firm, and re-texturize skin within two weeks. 

While a standard clinical study requires panelists to exhibit 1-2 signs of aging, Kiehl’s multi-ethnic panel of subjects were required to exhibit 6-8 signs, including sagginess, loss of firmness, loss of youthful contour, fine lines, wrinkles, rough texture, neck folds and enlarged pores.

 

Kiehl's Super Mulit-Corrective Cream is made with jasmonoic acid that helps repair wrinkles and fine lines, beech tree extract to improve skin firmness, fragmented hyaluronic acid to improve skin elasticity and smoothness. 

Within two weeks of using this product, my skin appeared firm and very smooth. Why do I love this cream so much? It's like using three anti-aging products (that really work) for the price of one!
