Wearing a Romper: Day to Night

The short version of jumpsuit is a romper. I am a big fan of them and while they may not seem age appropriate, there are some styles that are extremely flattering! The most important thing to keep in mind when buying one is to make sure it has a draw string so you define your waistline. I found this one in Venice, California in one of the fabulous boutiques on Abbot Kinney Street, The Burning Torch. I have been wearing it quite a bit lately...all around town, day and night!

Fab Bohemian Fine Jewelry: Joanie Landau Designs

I recently discovered a fine jewelry line, Joanie Landau Designs, with the most beautiful boho-styled necklaces. My favorite from her collection is the pave diamond crescent moon that skillfully hangs on a beaded chain of semi-precious stones (shown below). This piece looks great on it's own or layered with other simple necklaces. Most of the collection is a combination of one-of-a-kind and limited editions pieces. Flattering Bikinis from the Back Side Too!

I still want to wear two-piece swim suits even though I am well into my 40's! I realize that my tush doesn't look the way it used to, and long gone are the days where I can sport a teeny-weeny tiny bikini. Most bikini's I try on these days seem to be cut too small in the back and reveal way too much of my booty. I was in East Hampton last week and was thrilled to discover these amazing two-piece swim suits at Calypso St. Barth (yes, the tops and bottoms are sold separately). I loved the fit so much that I bought all three patterns shown here!
