Winter brings the opportunity to mix different textures together. Here I am wearing this chic Topshop faux fur vest with my favorite faux leather pants from Blank NYC. This vest is light-weight enough to wear under a winter coat. I finished off the look with edgy studded booties from Topshop. All of these pieces are well priced!

Bella Dahl makes amazingly soft flannels that are feminine and perfect for layering. I love how this pattern complements a monochromatic look. This Current/Elliot 'Skinny Mini' leather skirt is a great go-to piece when you are not in the mood for jeans or a dress. A leather skirt can be worn with tights and high boots for cold winter days (and used again in the Spring with bare legs as shown).
I decided to "top off" this outfit with a wide brimmed fedora from Rag & Bone. Adding a hat enhances any look and can make your favorite outfit feel completely new.
