Lately, I've been trying to make smarter fashion purchases so that I don't get buyers remorse. A great way to do this is to buy something only when you love it, not when you need it. Never shop last minute or on a whim and think about the longevity of your purchase. Today I am going to share with you some of my favorite fashion pieces that can be worn through all seasons. I specifically chose these wardrobe finds because they are super stylish, comfortable and fit to wear any time of year!
I am obsessed with this pleated skirt by Ulla Johnson. This skirt is super flattering and lays flat over the hips so it's slenderizing (YAY)! Here I am wearing it for Fall with a cold shoulder sweater and belt by A World Curated (sold out). It can also be worn with cotton tank, bare legs and sandals in the summer or with a big, heavy sweater, tights and high boots for winter!
Below is a similar cold shoulder sweater by Ramy Brook. I've been loving this trend, especially for women who want to bare some skin but also like to cover their arms. Wear this sweater with leather pants in the winter or on a cooler summer night with jeans! The cut off shoulder is universally flattering on all body types.
It's no secret I am in love with the Chloe Drew Bag! Not only can it be purchased for 30% less than the department store price on Farfetch, but it is one of the most versatile bags you can buy today. It can be be dressed up or down and the color is the perfect neutral...it's not too light and not too dark. And it truly goes with EVERY outfit day to night. The style is timeless and the hardware so elegant. Yes, this bag is an investment, but think about how much money you can save by buying just one FABULOUS bag versus a few less expensive ones.
How fun are these Alexander Wang booties with the rose gold detail? The ultra cool cut-out heel comes lined in rose gold or silver and this hardware gives the classic bootie a rocker-chic vibe. Pair these boots in the winter with your favorite jeans or in the summer with shorts and skirts. They are cut wide at the ankle and hit the leg at just the right spot (read: no cankles here)!
Of course I have to include a classic white blouse as a year round wardrobe must-have! I am loving this silk one by L'Agence with its nice details like the mandarin collar and hidden buttons. This pretty blouse can either be loosely tucked into jeans for a casual look or into a pencil skirt for a professional office look. Looks sharp and elegant any time of year!
Let's talk about jeans. Of course I will always love all my skinnies, but these Veronica Beard high waisted jeans are so incredibly fresh and flattering. They lift your bootie and make your legs look incredibly long and slim when paired with heels!
A bomber jacket can be draped over your shoulders during transitional seasons and under a winter coat during the colder months. I am sporting this black faux leather one by A World Curated (sold out), but also love the one by Calvin Rucker and McGuire. You can wear a bomber jacket with just about anything from jeans to dresses.
Another well worth it investment are a pair of Gianvito Rossi classic black pumps! These never ever go out of style. The toe has the perfect point, the heel is the perfect height, well...they are just perfect! These look great with cocktail dresses or jeans, plus they are super comfortable! And yes, you can wear them any time of year.
I feel good about these purchases because they get a lot of milage!
