A few months ago, I attended LA's Indie Beauty Expo 2017 to research and discover some of the latest and greatest independent companies shaking up the skincare, wellness and beauty industries. The IBE provides a platform for indie brands to showcase and promote their products and to support the growth and success of the entrepreneurs behind them!
It was fun learning about so many quality and emerging brands all under one roof and you can see by the insta stories and photos below that I personally sampled as many products as possible. In addition to trying several products on site, I took home two bags filled with samples from the event. Over the past few months, I put most of these to the test from masks and moisturizers, to lipsticks and nail polishes! So now you have it--my 15 Glow Girl approved favorites below:
1. Vital Proteins Collagen Beauty Greens in Coconut Vanilla

4. Maya Chia Supercritical Chia Waterless Wonder Balm ($42)
This multi-purpose treatment with potent chia oil extract works best on your hands, feet, cuticles or any other area that needs extra moisture and hydration.
5. Paris Honoré Balancing Toner ($59)
A must for a complete skin care regimen for women and men, this organic luxurious toner heals, tighten pores and fights off free radicals. The winning formula works for all skin types and is made with hand-selected ingredients such as tea tree oil, witch hazel, aloe vera, and water.
6. Province Apothecary Radiant Body Oil ($28)
Province Apothecary's Body Oil helps retain moisture and smoothness, and it's chock full of Vitamin E, Omega-6 fatty acids, and antioxidants. Province Apothecary also has a spot treatment and sex oil that won The Loop's Canadian Beauty Awards.
7. Secret in-a-Tube Facial Serum ($36)
Its unique blend of certified organic oils, vitamins and plant extract is super rich with antioxidants. Secret-in-a-Tube will firm your skin, diminish the appearance of lines, and reduce stretch marks. Plus, it absorbs nicely into the skin and hydrates without leaving an oily residue. 8. Julie Hewett Matte Lipsticks ($28)
Hollywood makeup artist Julie Hewett's Noir Collection is known for its cult-following. These fragrance-free and easy to apply matte lipsticks come in a variety of hues and last for hours.
9. Brow Gal Espresso Eyebrow Pencil ($23)
Created by celebrity brow expert Tonya Crooks, this pencil contains powerful antioxidant-rich pigments, jojoba oil, and shea butter. 10. Rutz Skincare Freeze Frame Nighttime Resurfacer Moisturizer ($52)

12. Lauren B Beauty ($18)
Quick drying and chip resistant, this nail polish comes in a variety of colors, nudes and metallics. Plus, its brush is packed with twice the amount of bristles, as compared to other brands.
13. Skin Inc. Hyaluronic Acid Serum ($45)
Designed to replenish and retain moisture, this potion contains a patented seaweed encapsulation technology that leaves your skin with a youthful, smoother glow.
14. Seven Wonders Amazonian Acai Anti-Pollution Mask ($6)
If you thought Acai was only in bowls, think again. This sheet mask, inspired by the South American Amazon, has advanced bio-cellulose ingredients that give quick results. This dermatologist tested sheet mask purifies the pollution found on your face, while reducing the look of pores.
15. CelleCle DetoxyClean ($45)

I am loving how well this works on removing my most resistant make-up plus the texture is amazing. Perfect for dry, combination or damaged skin.
