My friends Susan Feldman, Janet Gunn, and I noticed that this summer many of the styles including shoes and sandals have changed quite a bit! There’s definitely more of a 90’s and Y2K vibe which I love, especially since I have some great pieces saved from that time period. For me, that meant freshening up my wardrobe with some new (old) trends seen around town like high-waisted trousers paired with thong sandals or mules with a variety of heel types, and a square toe box.
Below are 4 sandals styles I bought this season and wearing on repeat. Since they are pretty trendy, I kept my purchases at a comfortable price point…no sacrifice on style here though! I also noticed quite a few amazing sandals on Amazon and put them in my store as well.

1. Thong Sandals
I am all about wearing thong sandals this summer, especially when they have a squared toe box for an elevated look. Whether they are kitten heels like this new pair from Who What Wear, a platform, or mid-heel, this style has become one of the hottest trends of the season!

2. Slide Sandals
I’ve always been a fan of a great slide, and these from Who What Wear are a new favorite for me! They are not only super chic but as comfortable as my bedroom slippers, and great to wear with everything from shorts to dresses.

3. Mules
I love a simple mule sandal, and these by Schutz go with everything in my closet. With a 2.5 inch heel, they can comfortably be worn from day to night.
4. Strappy Sandals
I love a strappy sandal, flat or heeled, and these by Dolce Vita are simple, stylish, and lightweight. So perfect for travel or to wear on the hottest of summer days.
