Using too much dark eyeliner can age the eyes so I like to line outside of my bottom and top lash line with a bronze shade instead of dark brown or black. Wearing bronze eyeliner is very flattering on all eye colors and helps them pop. This one by Julep comes in the perfect shade on bronze and has a great texture. I love the smooth, glide-on application of this gel-like eye pencil. Plus, it never smudges and lasts all day long.
As we age, our eyes can get dry and tear up quite a bit! This is why I love Ere Perez’s waterproof mascara! It’s the only clean formula that is especially great for those with sensitive skin. I love the easy-to-apply applicator and it adds the perfect amount of volume and length to my lashes without ever causing any clumping.
Our brows tend to thin out as we get older—I remember my mom always telling me as a teen not to over-tweeze because hers never grew back! Thicker brows change the entire look of your face as they frame the eyes nicely and seem to turn back the clock a few years too. W3ll People’s Expressionist Brow Gel is super easy to apply and perfectly fills in all the brow “bald” spots to create the illusion of natural, full-looking brows. The gel keeps hairs in place--I like to brush them up for a more dramatic look!
This multi-tasking multi-stick from the wildly popular brand ILIA is one I seem to reach for repeatedly (I love a double duty product). My favorite shade, “Tenderly”, builds to give color to cheeks or lips for a fresh-faced look. The tones in my face can sometimes look a bit sallow these days so I love to apply on the apples of the cheeks or cheekbones and blend upwards.
This new powder blush is from RMS, one of the pioneers in clean makeup! The super-hydrating formula leaves skin with a silky-smooth finish and is the perfect blush for dry skin. It manages to be both light and buildable while still giving the great pop of color you would expect from a powder blush. This is one of their newest products in the line and one of my favorite finds.
This award-winning, treatment-packed cream highlighter is perfect for cheeks, lips, and eyelids. I use it daily and like to dab it on my cheek bones, over my brow bone, cupids bow, and even my eyelids when not wearing shadow during the day. Its luxurious formula is blends beautifully and leaves my skin with its best glow on! Founder and celebrity make-up artist Gucci Westman calls it the ‘closer’ because it gives the most refined polish to the skin.

My lips are dry and have more fine lines these days so this high-shine, silky lip oil by Saint Jane always hits the mark.
