I coined the word “successories” for People Style Watch Magazine years ago when referring to my own personal accessories collection, and how selecting the right ones can make or break an outfit. The most basic looks can be elevated by adding a few key accessories.
Over the past year, I find myself heading back into my archive collection as these pieces are so on trend now! Keep reading to see some of my favorites from trending jewelry styles to bags, scarves, belts and sunnies!
Use this as a guide to shop for your “successories” and fill in where you need to. You can scroll down to see the shopping carousels for some fresh accessory ideas that will give your collection an instant update.

1. Chunky & Layered Jewelry
I'm wearing lots of chunky pieces and mixing them with delicate ones too. I love to layer necklaces, bracelets and rings or just wear one statement piece. For earrings, I seem to be reaching for huggies, pearls, hoops and studs these days. I recently got two new ear piercings this year to layer up and show off some of my fave ear candy.

2. Classic Belts
I like when belts have a bit of hardware, either gold or silver. Wear with jeans, dressy pants or to define waist with your favorite dress. I invested in a Bottega Veneta classic this year and seem to be wearing with everything!
