Many of my favorite summer activities include anything near or in the ocean or pool. I noticed that shopping for cute swimwear that is flattering on a post-menopause body is quite a different game so I thought I would share with you my favorite finds for summer!
As always, there’s a lot to take into consideration when shopping for new swimwear. Is it flattering? Does it hide lumps and bumps? Does it elongate my legs? How does the tush look? Is the material good quality? Do I feel confident while wearing this suit?
I happen to have found three new swimsuits this year worth a shout-out! Read below to find out why these suits have The Glow Girl stamp of approval.

This flirty suit is super flattering and the spandex material hugs (and holds) your curves in all the right places. I also love the style and extra support you get from the thicker straps. The cut is a bit higher in the back but still offers some nice coverage. The bright coral color is so on trend and works on all skin tones. Plus, it looks great with a fresh summer tan!
I recently wore this awesome pink bikini on a girls’ trip to Cabo and never wanted to take it off. The material is incredibly comfortable and I love that the bottom has good front and back coverage. The textured stretch fit fabric offers a nice amount of support and is so soft and lightweight. If you are not into two-piece swimsuits, they make them in one-piece styles too. The unique fabric adjusts itself to your body’s shape--it's one size fits most with this cult brand!
I love this classic bandeau one-piece and wore it on a trip to La Jolla! The ruched style is flattering on different body types and it does a nice job of hiding anything “extra” around the waist and belly! This cut offers a full coverage bottom, low-cut leg and high-rise back and available in tons of colors (it happens to be on sale now too)! Keeping sustainability in mind, it’s also made with a recycled polyester that is crafted from recycled plastic bottles, yarns and fabric scraps.
