With the new normal of “staying home” and “social distancing,” these days have been quite a challenging adjustment! Most of us are now working from home and seeing no one outside of our immediate family from the waist down, so it’s tempting to put less thought into getting dressed. I have found that setting a daily routine is very helpful to get motivated and although I am wearing mostly comfy chic clothes, it feels good to get ready.

The decision of what to wear each day has certainly gotten easier the past couple of weeks. Work-from-home (WFH), now made official with its own acronym, is going to be the new norm for a while so we wanted to share some of our favorite ways to be comfortable and chic when working remotely and social distancing.

Since we both conduct business out of our home offices on the regular, we have first-hand experience with the challenges of staying focused and on task when remote working. We know there may be the temptation to stay in your pajamas all day long… we get that. However, we felt it was our duty to share a piece of good advice. Before you start your at-home workday, change out of the pj’s you slept in the night before; making this transition signals to your brain that you are ready to kick it into boss-babe mode. This small decision is one of the best ways to motivate and create a positive structure and routine for the day ahead.
