I have always admired Julianne Moore so when The Moms invited me to their #MOOREMamarazzi luncheon and Q & A session with the award-winning actress and author, I jumped at the chance to hear her speak. Moore just published a new children's book, "My Mom is a Foreigner, But Not to Me," that celebrates her own childhood of growing up in the U.S. with a foreign (Scottish) mother. Her story resonates with so many of us just as her first best-selling book did, "Freckleface Strawberry."
The event kicked off with a lunch at the 21 Club in NYC followed by a Q & A hosted by "The Moms" Denise Albert and Melissa Musen Gerstein. Guests took home a copy of the new book signed by Julianne!
Watch the Q&A to hear about some of Juliane Moore's personal experiences and inspiration behind writing "My Mom Is a Foreigner, But Not to Me."
