New Must-Have Concealer by Nars

One of my biggest make-up challenges each day is covering up my dark under-eye circles. Sleep and cold spoons can often help reduce puffy eyes, but dark circles are usually inherited. ​I recently tried this new cover-up by Nars called the Radiant Creamy Concealer that is buildable and blendable. How to Get Perfect Highlights by Celeb Colorist Steve Amendola

I have been going to Steve at the John Frieda Salon in NYC for over ten years now and always so happy when he highlights my hair. On a recent trip to NYC, Steve gave me a more SoCal look by adding more highlights to the ends of my hair creating a gradual and natural-looking ombre.

I asked Steve to reveal his secret formula to achieve the look of my highlights since so many of you asked! Here goes:

"Hair is foiled only on the top/part area of the hair. A custom mixture of two blond shades by WELLA are applied in this area. The color is left to process for 30 minutes. At the half way mark, approximately 15 minutes into the timing a second mixture of a no-ammonia lightener is applied strategically around the face and on the ends of the hair. This mixture is allowed to sit for the remaining 15 minutes. After the hair is rinsed, a clear gloss product by L'OREAL is applied on damp hair and allowed to sit for five minutes, followed by a shampoo of OLIVE OIL SHAMPOO by KIEHLS and an OLIVE OIL MASK also by KIEHLS. The result? Beautiful, shinny, contemporary hair color."
