1. Sunscreen
A good sunscreen is vital any time you spend time outside and even more important when at the beach. Coola is my go-to brand for sunscreen and make a variety of great products for the face, body, hair and lips. 2. Ombre Beach Spray
Oaui Sun of a Beach spray will keep you looking like a California blonde at the beach and all summer long. This new formula by Jen Atkin is made with activated lemon infused coconut water and pineapple juice which brightens existing highlights or adds a sun-kissed glow to darker hair.
3. Sunglasses
Sporting a chic pair of sunnies adds great style to your look and it's always fun to wear a pair that show off your personality. These over-sized sunglasses by Karen Walker and this cat-eye pair by Oliver Peoples are my new faves and hot for the summer!
4. Bathing Suit
I am obsessed with the one-shouldered, one piece AND the high waisted two-piece swim suit trends this season! Not only are they are super flattering but look sophisticated and stylish. This one by Mara Hoffman is my newest purchase and I can't wait to wear it during my trip to Italy!
5. Sandals
I love the elegant look of the flat Hermes "H" sandals but because my feet are super narrow, they are too wide for me :( and are quite expensive! These Ancient Greek Sandals will give you the look at a third of the price are super stylish. They look amazing with anything from jeans to shorts to dresses--so comfy that I bought them in black and white!
6. Straw Hat
I love wearing a gorgeous straw hat for the beach and just to walk around during the summer for additional sun protection while adding some style to my outfit. I was so happy when I found this wide-rim straw that’s perfect for all summer occasions.
7. Dress
A beautiful solid midi dress that is chic and simple is one of my favorite pieces to wear over the summer. Just change the accessories and shoes to create a variety of looks. My favorite one is by Ramy Brook because it's versatile, flattering, and you can wear it from day to night.
