This month, I celebrated a big milestone—my 60th birthday! A dear friend of mine hosted the most beautiful party at her stunning home in Bel Air, and the day was filled with love, laughter, and the company of some of the most cherished people in my life.
Turning 60 felt deeply meaningful—a celebration of life, friendships, and the joy of simply being present. I was surrounded by incredible women I love and admire, indulging in my favorite foods (pizza, salads, and, of course, truffle fries!). The party had an energy that was pure joy, from the incredible music—courtesy of my talented friend Emily Wagner, who DJed and set the perfect vibe. The charcuterie board was great, filled with my favorite cheeses, and the floral arrangements—a mix of roses and hydrangeas—beautifully matched the peach tones of my dress. We also had a tarot card reader, whose insights made for a fun and memorable touch.
Given the stress and uncertainty brought on by the fires in January, I wasn’t sure if I wanted to celebrate at all. But this day was a reminder of why it’s so important to keep embracing joy, even in the most challenging times. In lieu of gifts, I asked my friends to make a donation to the victims of the LA fires (see below for details).
