Fashion trends have changed quite a bit over the past year. I wish I kept some of my great pieces from Y2K and the '90s as they are reminiscent of my past and are totally back in style now! I think it’s time to give up some looks that have grown tired in my closet and make room for some new (old) styles. Read on to see some of the looks I'm wearing (and not wearing) now!

1. Recycled or Vegan Leather Instead of Leather
Not only is there a big difference in the price compared to new leather, but the '90s-style recycled leather pants from Agolde are super fresh! I love them in white or black—they are high-waisted, the fit is great, and they are very flattering! Plus, I love supporting more sustainable fashion choices like this.
2. Loose Fitting Jeans (Straight or Wide-Cut) Instead of Skinny Jeans
These non-toxic, sustainable jeans by Boyish are my go-to for a high-style look that pairs well with vintage tops - I like these by Girl of The Earth. I am giving my skinnies a rest for now.
4. Vintage Eyewear
These retro sunnies from Montague are just super cool. Break these out on days when you are feeling like a badass—the price is right too!
5. Blazers
I think I wore a blazer every day in the ’90s, so I love that this classic look is back. The one I’m wearing is by WHBM and is a great basic to have in your wardrobe.
