Most days I seem to be short on time, so I like to keep my everyday makeup routine to 5 minutes. Since the look I am going for these days is usually very natural and glowy, I thought I would share my clean makeup picks that work so well to enhance the face without having to cake it on! These clean products give my skin a glowing natural look that lasts all day long.

Tinted Moisturizer
Tinted moisturizer is a great product to use when achieving a natural look because it’s not as thick as a traditional foundation. My go-to brands for a luminous tinted moisturizer are Coola, Ilia, Saie, and BareMinerals Hydrating Gel. These formulas are all sheer, yet they improve the overall texture of the skin while at the same time protecting it from the sun with SPF.
2. Concealer
A natural-looking concealer with great coverage is something I use every day to help under-eye circles and blemishes disappear. My favorite rockstar brands include Ilia, RMS, and W3LL People. Each one of these concealers offer a different type of application so click on their links to check them out and see what appeals most to you. Ilia’s concealer contains vitamin C, which brightens the skin over time too!
3. Bronzer
Since my skin is olive-toned and can look sallow at times, I like using a bronzing powder daily to brighten it up. My three faves include W3LL People and Westman Atelier and Vapour- all of these clean formulas help give my skin the sun-kissed, California-girl look I love. I like to brush a small amount of bronzer all over my face and add a little extra under the cheekbones to highlight my bone structure.
4. Blush
Blush is an important element for creating a natural, fresh face, especially when applied to the apples of the cheeks. I usually have a couple of different formulations on hand and love both the Ilia Multistick and the Westman Atelier blush stick since those are multi-taskers and can be used on the lips too!
My favorite powder blush is by Vapour as it leaves a sheer, vibrant finish and can be layered as needed.
5. Highlighter
Highlighter is my secret weapon for a glowy everyday look. A touch of highlighter on your upper cheekbones, eyelids, and cupid’s bow takes your natural makeup to the next level! My faves include Westman Atelier’s highlighter and Merit’s stick highlighter as both brands have a minimalist approach with great, clean formulations. W3LL People also makes a fantastic stick formula that I love as well for on-the-go touch-ups since its compact size fits nicely into any bag!
6. Eyeliner
I like to define my eyes just a bit along the outer edges of the lid with bronze eyeliner. Julep makes the best gel eyeliner in the game and can be used lightly during the day and heavier at night. I think bronze liner gives the illusion of bigger eyes and also helps them pop, so I prefer it to brown or black. And since it’s a universally flattering shade, I also recommend it for any eye color.
7. Brows
Thicker brows can change the entire look of your face as they frame the eyes nicely and seem to turn back the clock a few years, too. I love the universal brown brow pencil by Ere Perez and think it looks great on everyone from brunettes to blondes! It’s super easy to apply and perfectly fills in all the brow “bald” spots to create the illusion of natural, full-looking brows. The goal to keeping it natural is to get the brows looking full without the “penciled-in” look--this product always seems to deliver.
8. Mascara
After testing tons of different mascaras, I find myself using these two on repeat–The Ere Perez waterproof mascara because it has the perfect applicator, never smears or clumps up, and gives me the longest, most natural-looking lashes. I also love the one by Kosas for volume and hydration, plus the curved applicator thickens every last lash, clump-free.
9. Lip Gloss
I love a plump, glossy lip and rotate between Lilah B lip oil, Saint Jane CBD infused lip gloss, Westman Atelier’s Liquid Lip Balm, and Kosas Lip Plumping Gloss. I’m not a big lipstick person and tend to wear milky pinks or neutrals most of the time. I do think they look good on all skin tones and finish off the natural makeup look perfectly!
